These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Wardrobe Chat, including our mobile application, website at www.wardrobe.chat, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Wardrobe Chat helps you:

  • Organize and manage digital wardrobes and clothing items
  • Track wear history, placement, and saved outfits
  • Receive AI-powered outfit suggestions and chat with a styling assistant
  • Connect with friends, message, like, comment, and share style posts
  • Create a personal avatar and use virtual try-on features in the App
  • Learn about the product and contact us via our website

Virtual try-on and avatar tools are available inside the mobile App, not as public website tools.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old. If under 18, you need parental or guardian consent.
  • Provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Accounts may be created with username/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
  • Do not share accounts or create multiple accounts to evade limits or bans.

3. Acceptable Use

3.1 Permitted Use

Use the Service for personal, lawful wardrobe and style purposes, including social features with friends.

3.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Upload images you do not have rights to use
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, impersonate, or harm others
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
  • Use bots or automated systems without permission
  • Use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
  • Violate intellectual property or privacy rights of others

3.3 Zero Tolerance for Abuse

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may report content and block users in the App. We aim to act on reports promptly (typically within 24 hours), which may include removing content and suspending or terminating accounts.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of content you upload.
  • You grant us a license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service (including AI processing for suggestions, chat, avatar, and try-on).
  • The App, website design, branding, and technology remain our intellectual property.
  • AI outputs (suggestions, detections, try-on results) are informational only and provided “as is.”

5. Social Features, Reporting & Blocking

  • Friend connections, messaging, likes, comments, and style posts are provided for personal use.
  • You are responsible for your interactions and content shared with others.
  • Use in-app reporting and blocking tools for safety. Blocking limits further interaction according to App rules.
  • We may monitor or review content when needed for safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

6. Virtual Avatar and Try-On

  • Avatar generation requires a body photo you upload; you must have the right to use that image.
  • Try-on results are approximations and may not perfectly reflect real-world fit or appearance.
  • We may use third-party AI processors to generate avatars and try-on images.
  • We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or suitability of virtual fitting results.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use data.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Core features may be free; some features may require a subscription.
  • Pricing and terms will be shown in the App or store listing before purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through Google Play or the App Store.
  • Refunds follow the applicable store’s policies.

9. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • AI suggestions, detections, and try-on results may be inaccurate; fashion choices remain your responsibility.
  • We are not responsible for third-party outages (Firebase, AI providers, app stores, etc.).
  • We are not responsible for disputes between users or for user-generated content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service (if any) or USD $10, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other users.

12. Termination

  • You may delete your account anytime in Account Settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, abuse, fraud, or legal requirements.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on this website and in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Please contact us first to try to resolve disputes in good faith.
